Já estava na hora de eu listar os filmes de Serial Killer que mais influenciaram em minha carreira de escritor. Alguns desses títulos mudaram a minha visão sobre o tema e ajudaram a construir, por exemplo, o Brandão de Bom Dia, Verônica. Curiosos? Confira abaixo!
1 - O Colecionador de Ossos, dirigido por Philip Noyce
Foi o primeiro filme de serial killer que vi na vida, aos dez anos. Depois dele, fiquei meses sem andar de táxi.

Um clássico com Morgan Freeman e Brad Bitt. Um serial killer que mata conforme os pecados capitais. Tive pesadelos com os crimes da luxúria e da gula...
3 - Jogos Mortais, dirigido por James Wan
Vi aos 15 anos com a minha avó, que assinou um termo mentindo que eu tinha 18 anos para poder entrar nos cinemas. Saí fascinado. O filme foi grande inspiração de SUICIDAS, que eu comecei a escrever na época.
4 - Psicopata Americano, dirigido por Mary Harron
Um filme que ensinou que histórias policiais também podem ter subcamadas, fazer críticas sociais e usar humor ácido.
5 - Silêncio dos Inocentes, dirigido por Jonathan Demme
A única história de serial killer a levar o Oscar. Em Dias Perfeitos, Téo usa uma frase de Hannibal Lecter para falar com Clarice...

I actually got into serial killer cinema through an academic lens — studying criminal behavior, motivation, and how justice systems respond. It's funny how films like American Psycho raise questions that could easily fit into Law Dissertation Topics — from criminal insanity defenses to the ethics of forensic profiling. The way these stories blur the line between monster and man always leaves me thinking long after the credits roll. Can't wait…
